This imprints into the candle’s memory. We wanted to share a few tips so you get the most out of your Zorilla Soy Candle.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAlways trim your candle to 6mm ( old school ¼ “ ) . It's important to trim the “ mushroom” on the top of the wick if one has formed. This avoids smoke and the wick burning too quickly.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIf the candle starts to tunnel ( leave wax walls on the side ) you can fix this in a number of ways.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eLighting the wick and covering the candle with foil. This will heat the entire surface of the candle and melt the top layer forming a perfect surface again. Be careful removing the foil as it will be hot!\u003cbr\u003eUsing a hairdryer holding it around 30cm away - heat the surface of the candle until it is evenly melted.\u003cbr\u003eIf it is just one side that is not melting due the wick not being 100% central, or maybe the candle was positioned where there was air blowing from one side, you can bend the wick slightly to direct the flame and heat towards the unmelted side.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAlways remove old bits of wick and debris. You can actually wash the surface of the soy candle with cold water if there are black marks. Be sure to dry it thoroughly before lighting again.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eKeep your candle’s lid on ( obviously when not using it…)  to maintain the scent and avoid discolouration. If you want a nice soft aroma - leave the lid off and enjoy the scent without the flame.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eKeep the candle away from direct sunlight and other heat sources, and never leave unattended and keep away from furry friends and children.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eStop using when there is only 1 - 1 ½ cm of wax left in the jar. You can scrape out the remainder and remove the small metal wick base which will be adhered to the inside base.
